I'm a wedding photographer and filmmaker based in Dallas, Texas — and honestly, I almost wasn't.

Here's the real story: Back in early 2020, my wife Cherielyn kept asking me to get her a nice camera because she wasn't happy with her phone photos. So for her birthday in May, I bought her a top-tier camera. By December, it hadn't been touched once. I couldn't stand watching a great camera collect dust, so I picked it up myself — and something unexpected happened.

It brought me back to life.

I'd taken three years of photography in high school, so some of it came back quickly, but it had been nearly 30 years. I went deep — YouTube videos, late nights, practicing every chance I got. The joy I felt behind the lens was real, and I started to think... maybe this could be something.

I dipped my toes in with free family sessions in January 2021. Then in March, two friends from church asked if I shot weddings. My answer was an immediate yes — even though I had two months to figure it out. I watched everything I could find on wedding photography, bought two flashes, and practiced relentlessly.

Both couples loved their photos. That was all I needed.

The first year was rough. But the second year got better. The third, even better. And year four? Nothing short of amazing.

What followed has been a series of moments I never saw coming when I first picked up that dusty camera. In 2023 — just two and a half years in — I was selected as one of the Three Best Rated wedding photographers in Frisco, TX. Completely unsolicited. No votes, no pay-to-play. Just a third-party validation that told me I was on the right track. Four years later, I'm proud to say that recognition hasn't stopped — I've held a spot on that list every single year since.

My work has also been featured on the covers of Artells Magazine, Woman's Week Magazine, City Lifestyle, and Living Legacy, along with many other publications. Each one still catches me a little off guard — in the best way possible.

Today, what I do goes far beyond showing up with a camera. I'm here to tell your love story the way it actually feels — not stiff, not posed, not "okay everyone smile." Real. Cinematic. Yours.

My approach lives somewhere between candid documentary and editorial artistry. Every image is intentionally crafted to feel natural and timeless, because ten years from now, you shouldn't look at your wedding photos and cringe at a trend. You should look at them and feel it all over again.

I work with couples across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex — from intimate ceremonies in McKinney to grand receptions in uptown Dallas — and every wedding I photograph, I treat like it's the only one on my calendar.

I feel so blessed to have turned a dusty camera into a full-time passion. And I can't see myself doing anything else.
